Parties

Is your child too old for a clown show, but would still like to enjoy the energy and fun that Rainbow the Clown brings to a party? Then have Linda “Rainbow” Levine perform her magic in other ways to keep the birthday guests enthralled and entertained. This collection of creative, educational, and fun birthday parties have been used with great sucess in parties and libraries around the Bay Area.

Bead It!

Beads, buttons, and bangles are all stringable when you've got the right tools. Learn to use memory wire to create unique jewelry for men and women, girls and boys alike. Making beads and creating earrings can be added to this program on request. Maximum: 30 people (may be expanded for an additional material fee).

Clowning Around

An introduction to the delightful art forms of juggling, pantomime, and clowning. Linda “Rainbow” Levine began her clown training at age 8, and has now performed for audiences in the USA and beyond. Come learn to be a clown (wigs and clown shoes not required!)

Contemporary Collage

It is a treat for the senses to create lovely collage art. As we tear up magazines and streamers, bend wire, soak postage stamps, and shrink photographs, we are making miracles from the mundane. A true opportunity to turn lemons into lemonadeÜcollage creation is a window into your creativity. Decorate cans, boxes, pots, frames and more. Collage with Mod Podge allows you to make inexpensive gifts for yourself and for others.Maximum: 40 people (may be expanded for an additional material fee).

Cooperative Group Games

Red rover and dodgeball are outdated. Come learn many wacky, hilarious, noncompetitive, nontraditional activities for the whole family. Wear jeans and come ready to play, run, and hop outdoors. Everyone exercises and everyone wins!

Fun With Fimo

Polymer clay is a color wonderful clay medium that is easy to use and inspires our creativity. All students will leave with handmade projects from beads to key chains, light switch covers to creepy critters to bake at home. Maximum: 40 people (may be expanded for an additional material fee).

Hemp It Up!

Right over left and left over right. Basic knots are what this art form is all about. Create simple and ornate patterns by adding beads and color to this wonderful gift of creativity and friendship. Maximum: 30 people (may be expanded for an additional material fee).

Junk Art

Some people have a knack for turning lemons into lemonade, and they see minor miracles in the mundane. Learn tips for turning ordinary tools, found objects, and scraps into extraordinary treasures and inexpensive gifts.

Lacing with Lanyards

Working with lanyards is derived from the art of braiding, which goes back 500 years. Sailors, cowhands, and scouts know the skill needed to knot properly, and the satisfaction of project completion. Come learn with Linda Levine! YouÈll receive clear braiding instructions for lacing with lanyards.

Mask Maker, Mask Maker, Make Me a Mask

On every continent, in every culture, in every time period, masks have been used for ornamentation, theater, worship, war, and more. Come create a mask that expresses your wild and wacky side. Great for Halloween, Chinese new year, Cinco de Mayo, Purim, and multicultural themes of every sort. Maximum: 40 people (may be expanded for an additional material fee).

Me-Puppets and Personal Shields

Make a puppet and personal shield to express who you truly are on the inside and the outside. Craft materials will be provided to help you re-create you! Discussion with puppets and shields brings this program to it's full value.

Private Eye

Magnifying glasses, optical illusions, and spectroscopes help us explore the science of vision and the wonder of our private eyes. We are bringing science to life, just before your very eyes. Maximum: 40 people (may be expanded for an additional material fee).

More than fifty easy process-oriented activities for children and teens that expand creativity and celebrate learning by doing. Most adults say they learn too!

Stamping up a Storm: Rubber Stamp Arts

A hands-on rubber stamp workshop for all ages and genders. Make cards, hats, door signs, scrapbooks, and more with rubber stamps and old postage stamps. Workshops may be general or themed, i.e., Valentines, birthdays, Asian elegance, multicultural magic, Halloween, December (Kwanza, Chanukah, Christmas, New Year). Everyone leaves with multiple creations.

Storytelling, Theater Games, and Pantomime

Storytelling is the memory of who and what we are, stories of history and holidays. Fiddlers and fools come to life when you learn to create the environment and become the characters. Come as a teller and an audience and participate in hilarious theater games.
